“No matter which inner sound you hear, it’s the sound of the Holy Spirit uplifting you. It’s the sound of the Holy Spirit making changes in you which will leave you different tomorrow than what you were yesterday.
And these changes, which begin at the Soul level, at the heart of you, work their way out into the outer world in time. They begin to change your behavior into more ethical behavior. Into higher actions, even though the goal of spiritual unfoldment is not ethics or higher actions.
In the same way, wisdom, power, and freedom are not the goal for the seeker of God. These are attributes which come to one who has God-Realization. In other words, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God … and all these things shall be added unto you.”
What I’m saying is seek the highest, and the rest of life will fall into place. And this is the role of HU.”
